Staring out the window,
At the falling rain.
As it beats a tempo,
Against my window pain.
Bending down the branches,
Almost to the ground,
Making me so sleepy,
Listening to the sound.
Running off in little streams,
Way down to the pond.
With great urgency it seems,
Of rain i'm just so fond.
